Last Saturday, the Worst Party had an eventful shopping experience, and they weren't even really looking for one! They were looking to get out of the storm foreseen by Eunice's folk meteorology.

And so they ducked into a shop on a hill. Its sign read "Robes…& More!"

The shopkeeper, Alaphina, urged the PCs to try them on. And Beffa was buying it!

Not Big Mama and Eunice, though, who had hatched a shoplifting scheme. Big Mama took some robes to "try on" in the dressing room. On the way there, she saw a mirror. Through which she gazed into the eyes of a snake-haired woman. Big Mama was then turned to stone.

Outside, Malkalbly Jane came upon a view of graveyard with a lot of statues, as well as a secret door.

Big Mama re-emerged as a flesh being, but she found herself tied to a stone slab, where two snake-haired ladies were waving over a toothy winged being that was traveling from another plane.

The rest of the party smashed the mirror and picked up pieces of it, then advanced down the dressing room corridors, walking backwards and looking through mirror shards.

Though bound to a table and without equipment, Big Mama Felto unleashed quite the barrage! Magic suggestions! Flaming Spheres! Magic Missiles! It was enough to take down the creature and scare back the snake-haired ladies.

Soon, the Worst Cavalry came around the corner (walking backward and looking through broken piece of mirror). Swords, sling bullets, and crosses flew! Beffa may have felt like she was turning into stone, but she didn't. Soon, with Big Mama untied and equipped with the Flame Buddy Sword Assistant, they were chasing Alaphina (who also turned out to have snake hair) down a corridor and had backed her into a room where she made a stand with her treasure and a bull with metal scales.
