Ghulash turned out to be a different place than the other towns in Sancta Vela. Awash in gold and the skeletal elite, prices were sky-high and rental space was scarce. The PCs did some burglary in attempt to balance things in their favor. They considered property flipping. In the end, the swim upstream was too much for them since their water magic items did not work on metaphorical streams.
They went to a new castle that had just appeared in some fog, hoping to build a new life. (By which I mean sleeping in order to recover hit points and spells.) Well, they found a screaming spirit, slime, spooky ornaments, a fancy dinner, and a brief organ recital. Also, many many auto-closing doors.
Along the way, the PCs doled out a lot of business advice, empathized with nativist blacksmiths, unmasked some mannequins, avoided taking psychic damage from open houses, and defeated a green slime and a screaming spirit.
