ACT I: A nail-biting encounter that could have gone much wronger!
A trio of Trolls showed up to the robe store to demand (not unreasonably) their custom-made very large robes. The Worst Party tried and failed to appease them with other robes sewn together, with explanations that the store was under new, less competent management, and with an invitation to go get the custom robes themselves (after discovering that they were stored in the portal room behind three large demons). In the end Eunice went all-in and hat-disguised herself as Alaphina, the deceased robe proprietress, in order to try and combine two big problems to make a solution, a much bigger problem, or at least a distraction. She managed to convince the demons to follow her out to the main sales floor so they could get their sacrifices themselves, buffet-style. Then she hid as hard as she could in shadows while the two enemies encountered one another, leaving the DM to do a lot of solo dice-rolling. The rest of the party waited nervously in the secret passage and eventually Eunice managed to flee and join them. (PHEW)
ACT II: A lot of stuff underground.
Makalbly Jane discovered a trapdoor under the table in the demon sacrifice room! Everyone proceeded down it, glad to leave the troll-demon melee behind. Below they found many more doors, tunnels, rooms, etc.
