It was a big eggs and shapes day for the Worst Party. They rocked the pocket dimension dodecahedron until it fell apart! (Partly by hatching a dinosaur egg in it and accidentally suffocating it with a Web. (And then BBQing the dinosaur.)) They played with fire while trying to hatch some eggs and got a little burned as the fire tried to play with them, so to speak!
Next, it was the pocket dimension icosahedron's turn to get worked over by the Worst Party. They stuffed an egg in and hatched a dinosaur. The dinosaur was too large to actually get out of the Icosahedron, however, so they put a Bat Hat on it, and it flew off into the depths of the pocket dimension. The next dinosaur hatchling also was too large post-incubation. This time, the PCs were ready. Right after Permanent Parrot was cast on it, they stuffed it into a bag.
So, now they've got a dinosaur qua parrot! Living the dream, I tell you.
Then, Nettie sang a song to help the Worst Party remember the essence of the Worst Party! They were inspired!
And with that renewed sense of self in hand, the Worst Party ran into Braddron, a hearty arm-removing fighter from Nettie's old party! Along with Hudra, the missing brother that they were sort of looking for back when they first entered Sancta Vela.
Unfortunately, they were now vampires, which the PCs flushed out by insisting on garlic handling. Battle ensued, and the Worst Party took a bite or two, but ultimately, pushed the vampires onto their heels. To put it less metaphorically, they damaged the vampires so badly that the vampires were forced to take gas cloud form. Here, a longstanding commitment to the bellows paid off. (That is a sentence not often written.)
While one vampire cloud escaped through a crack, the other got sucked into the bellows, nearly escaping via some dramatic turns which you surely remember, but ultimately confined to another nearly container, which was as probably the most airtight one the PCs had.
And then the raced toward the sunlight, but retracing their steps through the dungeon has not been as straightforward as they'd like.
